Galatians

For the rest of this year, i will be touching down on the book of Galatians. As i study this amazing book, my aim is to share as Holy Spirit teaches me.

Freedom in your Purpose and assigment

Galatians 1:1- This letter is from paul an apostle. I was not appointed by any group of people or any human authority, but by Jesus Christ Himself and by God the Father who raised Jesus from the dead.

Over the last 4 years, as i grew in my Christian walk and working towards finding my purpose and the assignment God has for me, I found comfort in waiting for some kind of activation from a person or a Church, someone who can anoint and appoint me to go out on my God given assigment. The truth is only God can do this. It’s God who has the ability to anoint and appoint us. When He appoints, He also anoints you. (Read 1John 2:27 & 1John 2:20, Isaiah 61:1-11, Luke 4:18)

Just like paul, we are not appointed our purpose and assigments from any church or denomination, or person. Human beings have no such authority over each other, over the earth yes, but not over each other.

Genesis 1:26-30 NLT 26 Then God said, “Let us make human beings[a] in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth,[b] and the small animals that scurry along the ground.”27 So God created human beings[c] in his own image.

    In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.28 Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground.”29 Then God said, “Look! I have given you every seed-bearing plant throughout the earth and all the fruit trees for your food. 30 And I have given every green plant as food for all the wild animals, the birds in the sky, and the small animals that scurry along the ground—everything that has life.” And that is what happened.

We are appointed to our purpose and assigments by our Heavenly Father and Creator, Almighty God. When we were born, we were born with a purpose within us, and it was not given by man, it was given to each individual by God Himself. The same God who raised His son Jesus who died for our sins, from the dead. The same God God who created us.

You were anointed and appointed by God to fulfill your purpose here on earth. Don’t be afraid to walk in that purpose, and don’t wait on someone to activate you into the assigments God has given to you.
