Affirmation For Kingdom Living 1

"I HAVE EVERYTHING I NEED FOR LIFE AND GODLINESS."

Everything we could ever need for life and godliness has already been deposited in us by His divine power. For all this was lavished upon us through the rich experience of knowing Him who has called us by my name and invited us to come to him through a glorious manifestation of godliness.

Affirmation has been one of the things that got me through life hurdles.Telling myself that i can do anything i put my mind to, has help me to actually accomplish that which i put my mind to.

Just recently i found out that i am an artist/painter. I have always had an eye for art, i love colors and i love seeing different colors blending in unison, i love different forms of art, but the medium that really gets my attention more is "abstract art", so by now you know that abstract art medium is what i do.

As most of you may know as well that i am a singer/songwriter. I now like to call it "worshipper" because my songs and my singing is all about worship, and this is what i do as well as an artist. I love the way God is develping my voice as a worshipper but also the techniques as a singer. I love hearing the sound my voice makes, all the curves, tone and pitch, it's amazing how God created us to do anything.

As an artist, i love the different characters i paint, and the colors that come together to make a shape of something not always recognizable to the human eye, this is because i paint with Holy Spirit. I ask God to use my hands, then i put on my earphones with christian music that takes me away, when am finished, am astonished at what i just did. Most of the time, what i initially start out in my mind to paint end with a completely different outcome.

But sometimes, it's not always like this. Sometimes i feel stuck and afraid, believing those lies that i can't accomplish what i want to paint, that i am not experience enough or didn't have a formal education for singing/songwriting and art.

When God is telling me through a vision/images to paint this scene, i become nervous and think about the image throughout the day without actually painting it, or He may give me a melody for a new song and i ignore it, then realize later what i did.

God gave is the wisdom, authority and power and everything else we need for our daily living, for our purpose and talents, YOU ARE NOT ALONE IN THIS. We rely on Him to teach us, but we must also know it's already there in us.

Whatever is impressed upon your heart, know that you can do it!

Don't settle for mediocrity, don't settle for just the basics all the time, and don't ignore the small voice of the Lord that is nudging you and giving you the solution. Think out of the box, and move out of the box, dig deeper. Stretch yourself and you will see how much you can and will accomplish.Think about what you do as worship to God, and how much pleasure He will get from you doing what you do with intentionality and purpose, and how good you will feel about yourself.

Spend more time in the SECRET PLACE (the spiritual) with the Lord to hear from Him what seem difficult to understand in the natural.

Give yourself a powerful positive self-talk daily!

Action step:

Take some time daily to write down some "I can and I am" affirmation statements.

Journal them in a book that you can refer back to them throughout the day when you feel discouraged or even intimidated by something you want to accomplish.
